The IFI International iOS App can be downloaded here and the IFI International Android App here.
Once you have rented a film on www.ifiinternational.ie, the film will automatically appear in your App Library.
You can then watch it on your Apple/Android device or stream/cast it to your Apple TV or Chromecast.
Films are also available to download on App for offline viewing.
Supported devices and browsers
We advise customers to use the IFI International apps or the following browsers in order to view IFI International films.
We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.
Not all Smart TVs have the capability to load IFI International and you may need to cast/airplay from another device. To test, please rent our free Test Your Setup film.
Windows computers
We support computers running Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. Earlier versions are not supported.
Please use Google Chrome v105 or above, Microsoft Edge v105 or above, Firefox v104 or above, or Opera v90 or above. Internet Explorer is no longer supported.
Mac computers
We support Macs running OSX 10.12+.
Please use Google Chrome v105 or above, the latest Safari version for your device, Firefox v104 or above, or Opera v90 or above.
Android
We support Android devices running Android 6.0 or later.
Please use Google Chrome v105 or above or the inbuilt browser.
iOS
We support iOS 11.0 or later.
Please use Safari, Google Chrome v105 or above or Microsoft Edge v100 or above.
iPad OS
We support iPad OS 11.0 or later.
Please use Safari, Google Chrome v105 or above or Microsoft Edge v100 or above.
Apple TV
We support tvOS 12.0 or later. We support Airplay v4.0 or later to Apple TV.
Amazon TV
We support Fire TV Gen 1-3, Fire TV 4K and Fire TV Lite.
Linux
Linux is not supported.
Chromecast
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge web browsers are enabled to allow casting to Chromecast, as well as the IFI International app.
First generation Chromecasts are not supported due to a bug they have decoding DRM.
Smart TVs
For a stable experience, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of AmazonTV, AndroidTV or AppleTV depending on your device.
