Unbreakable: The Mark Pollock Story

1h 20m Documentary, Sport 2014

Ross Whitaker’s tragic but ultimately inspirational documentary celebrates Mark Pollock’s strength, positivity and determination in the face of enormous obstacles throughout his life. Ten years after losing his sight at the age of 22, Mark Pollock became the first blind person to race to the South Pole. But four weeks before his wedding, an accident left Mark paralysed from the waist down and threw his life into turmoil once again. With the unerring support of his fiancée Simone George, he embarks on a lengthy and painful recovery through dark days and, gradually, moments of hope.
